With nearly two decades of playing experience and almost a decade of teaching expertise, I have cultivated a deep passion for piano and music education. My teaching journey began at various piano studios in NYC, and I've had the privilege of instructing K-8th grade group piano classes. Currently, I am the proud founder of Del Mar Piano Studio, my private teaching venture, where I passionately nurture students of all ages and skill levels. My dedication to music has not only been in teaching but also in participating and excelling in international piano competitions. I am honored to be a laureate of several prestigious competitions such as the William J. Scribner Young Artist competition and the Elite Piano Competition, experiences that ultimately led me to make my debut at the renowned Carnegie Hall in NYC. I have also taken up the responsibility of teaching piano at Define Beautiful Arts, a studio that focuses on piano education for students with learning disabilities. Currently, I am in pursuit of my Bachelors of Piano Performance at the esteemed Lamont School of Music.

My name is Coach Jack. For over 28 years, I've refined my passion for swimming into a dedication to fostering growth in my students. With a focus on technique and individualized learning, I aim to help swimmers of all levels unlock their full potential in the water. Ny Ang range is 6 months to 100 years. I swam competitively for 20 years, and have coached/taught privately for the last 4. I specialize working with those with IDD, and I place heavy emphasis on the safety side of swimming. Once safety is achieved, then I focus on refinement so we can get faster and stronger. I have successfully taught over 1000 students and have over 24,000 lessons (ranging from 20 minutes to 1 hour).
"Coach Jack is an amazingly wonderful man. I am not able to truly express how grateful we are for him. My 14 year old son has Cerebral Palsy, and we tried 4 swim schools and 12 instructors. Jack was our final resort as everyone else had given up on my son, saying he would never swim. On our first day, Jack greeted us with smiles, listened to us and our worries, and took my son into the water. After 12 instructors telling our son it was hopeless he, along with us, obviously had a lot of trust issues. But within 5 minutes, he was laughing and smiling, and FLOATING. Coach Jack had done what everyone else said was impossible. And then suddenly Jack was teaching him how to move his arms and legs. We watched in awe as Jack got him to swim half way across the pool on his own (Coach Jack called it Squid). I realized right there that Coach Jack was the real deal. 12 other instructors, 4 swim schools, with 40 failed lessons…. We will never swim with anyone else ever again. Coach Jack met our son at his level, and built him up. We immediately got our other 3 kids to swim with Coach Jack. My youngest daughter was 2 years old and was terrified of the water. Within 5 minutes she was giggle and blowing bubbles. Jack was teaching her to float and jump into the water. AT 2!! My other two children, it was the same thing. Smiling and having fun, learning the basics and refining skills they already had. Before we realized it, 8 months had passed and all of us were taking lessons from Jack. My two middle children (Jackson and Anna) are joining their first swim teams. My wife and I can tread water for 7 minutes and swim nonstop for 20 minutes. My youngest (Emma) is able to swim freestyle and backstroke. And my oldest (Frankie) is learning how to do breaststroke, as he has already learned squid, and freestyle. Please please PLEASE, take your children to see Coach Jack. He is a one of a kind person with true gift for teaching swim, and he never gives up on his students. If these last 8 months have shown us anything,it’s that there are still good people in this world, and Coach Jack is one of the best, with the purest heart.
