On top of being a two-time PGA Tour Event winner and long-time golf channel analyst, Ted is an exceptional coach. He began his love affair with golf at the age of five. Growing up in Pennsylvania, Ted’s parents would drop him off at the golf course in the morning and pick him up at night. He would practice all day and imagine himself playing with the greats of the game. He studied their swings and imitated them as much as possible. His innate ability to see his body moving in time and space was his talent, and it took him all the way to the PGA TOUR. He also currently competes on the Champions Tour. I make learning simple - the club is attached to the hands, hands attached to the arms, arms attached to the body. Learn how to move the body and the club will follow. There are only a few effective ways to swing a club, I teach a swing that is designed around a neutral spine. I want my clients to have the same, heathy swing - no back pain, hip pain, knee pain etc - from when they are 7 years old to 90yrs old without having to change a thing.
