Leonna is the founder of Shake Culture Dance and a certified dance minister. Shake Culture Dance is a Christian Dance Company in Jacksonville, Florida that offers background dancers for Christian hip-hop artists, performs at events, choreographs for dance groups and teams, directs and edits music videos for Christian artists, offers adult and children dance fitness classes, and hosts hip-hop dance workshops for dance teams/studios. Shake Culture is currently on a 3 city tour providing choreography and training to different dance teams and dance studios. On the tour Leonna has worked with Seacoast Christian Academy, Trinity Christian Academy, Carver MS Pom Squad, and the Black Christian Influencers Retreat. She is the Creative Director of the #FlowintheSpirit freestyle showcase that showcases dancers of all styles worshiping Christ. She is also the host of SCD Interviews, a YouTube series where she interviews Christian Creatives. She is currently the hip-hop teacher at Nova Dance and Wellness, Malivai Washington, COAB Community Center, Sanctuary on 8th Street, and ImouveUmouve. She is the Director of dance at Freedom Church Jax, a choreographer for GoHeadFred Productions, and the choreographer for the 2022 Rhythm of Gospel Awards. Baseball Career Highlights 2023 (Senior – CAC) First Team All-Continental Athletic Conference selection at shortstop. CAC Gold Glove winner at shortstop. Went 6-for-10 with six RBI and five runs scored in a series against No. 24 Taylor (Indiana) (Feb. 10–11, 2023). Posted a .424 batting average with 72 hits, including 20 multi-hit games. Scored 63 runs, drove in 45 runs, and successfully stole 20 bases. Helped team win the CAC Tournament title and advance to the NAIA Opening Round. Member of the squad that advanced to the 2023 Avista NAIA World Series. 2022 (Sophomore – Jacksonville University) Started 51 of 53 games, all at second base. Hit .251 with 47 hits and drew more walks (23) than strikeouts (20). Led the team in sacrifice hits (6) and helped turn 26 double plays. Recorded 10 multi-hit games and tied for second on the team with six multi-RBI games. Notched an eight-game hitting streak and an 11-game on-base streak. Dean’s List student. 2021 (Freshman – Jacksonville University) ASUN All-Freshman Team selection. Started all 49 games at second base. Hit .283 (4th on team) and ranked second with 23 RBI. Led team and ranked second in the ASUN with six sacrifice hits. Committed just four errors in 190 chances (.979 fielding percentage).
