I hold an AAS in Guitar Performance and am a few credits shy of a BA in Music from UTA. With over 19 years of teaching experience, I've shared my passion with students of all ages and styles. Currently, I weave melodic tales as the guitarist for La Pompe Dallas (Gypsy Jazz), the upright bassist for Justin Pickard and the Thunderbird Winos (Best Americana Dallas 2023) and The Vinyl Stripes (Rockabilly & Surf). My musical journey spans classic rock, blues, bluegrass, country, swing, gypsy jazz, rockabilly, and more. Jazz Pianist Bernard Wright mentored me as a bassist in his Jazz trio for several years. I explored diverse instruments like piano, clarinet, mandolin, dobro, oud, and African percussion. Songwriting is a forte, having been a finalist in Dallas contests.
