With over 25 years of basketball playing experience, I've helped players of all ages and skill levels unlock their full potential on the court. My coaching style blends technical expertise with a fun, supportive environment that fosters growth and a true love of the game. I will tailor a training program that will improve the skills that need the most improvement. I have years of experience playing basketball since I was a child throughout high school and intramurally in college. I have been a basketball trainer for 5 years as I have taken on clients who want to improve in forest hills league from an Asian community as well as any players who would like to improve. I specialize in plyometric training exercises that improve vertical jumping, speed and quickness. I focus on good diet, recovery, consistency, and fundamentals with all of my basketball training clients. I train first in fundamentals, then move on to simulate in-game situations, and finally scrimmages or pickup games. My playing expertise in basketball combined with my passion and fundamentals in teaching will make me an excellent trainer. Hello! My name is Ian McBride. I am Alumni of Norcross High Basketball and played 4 years Collegiate Basketball in California. I went on to play pro in Japan as it ended with an injury that led me to stop playing professionally. So now with a total of 15 years dedicated to honing young talent on the court, I provide expert basketball coaching, fostering both skill and sportsmanship. My approach blends rigorous training with an enjoyable learning environment. I'm passionate about empowering athletes to achieve their full potential.

Former competitive basketball player with experience in both high school and collegiate basketball. I played in the PSAL during high school and competed in AAU with CM3, the Gauchos, and Wiz Kids, gaining experience against strong competition and developing a high basketball IQ.I continued my playing career at Hostos Community College and Utica College, where I built strong fundamentals, discipline, and leadership through the game.
