I explored diverse instruments like piano, clarinet, mandolin, dobro, oud, and African percussion. Songwriting is a forte, having been a finalist in Dallas contests. In addition to music, I once designed Media Matrix audio gear for Peavey Electronics but chose the path of playing and teaching music over-engineering.
