"The lesson with John was quite helpful, especially in working on my serve and return. Though I still need to work on consistency, I appreciated how he explained some of the court positioning, which made a noticeable difference. Still, I’m hoping the next lesson can focus a bit more on footwork to improve that aspect. Supportive shoes you can move in that won’t slip around - tennis shoes, cross trainers, or trail runners are ok (running shoes aren’t the best) For intermediate students and above, please wear shorts, pants, or skirts with pockets or spandex that can hold a tennis ball or two. Bring a racquet if you have one, water, and sunglasses or a hat if we’re playing outside.
