How it works

Beginner training plan

Your first lessonFirst we'll learn the basics of the game, including the rules, scoring, and essential equipment. We'll also focus on fundamental skills like grip, stance, and basic strokes to get you started on the right foot.

Lesson 11+Finally we'll put your skills to the test with guided game play, incorporating all the techniques and strategies you've learned. Work on fine-tuning your overall game performance to prepare you for competitive play.

Lesson 4-10These lessons will be be based on your skill level. We'll work on your volleys, dinks, and game tactics to increase your confidence and effectiveness on the court. We will start practicing consistent serves and serve accuracy.

Lesson 2-3Next we'll build on your initial skills by refining your forehand and backhand strokes. We'll also introduce you to court positioning and basic footwork to enhance your game play. We will also work on creating a good foundation for understanding game flow.

Youth players

Working with kidsI love working with kids. Want to make the game fun for them in a low stress, low stakes environment. Want to give them an environment they can enjoy playing in and slowly learning and up-leveling naturally.

Working with teenagersI have a lot of patience and experience in working with kids and teenagers. I initially assess the level they are at and adjust my approach accordingly.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.

My love for racquet sports started early with tennis, I even played on my high school’s JV team! Being active and outdoorsy has always been a big part of who I am, which probably stems from growing up in the stunning landscapes of Colorado. After moving to Austin 12 years ago, I stumbled upon pickleball about 3 years back, and it's been a total game-changer!
