What stood out most was the overall quality of the lesson, which I would rate 10/10. Dora’s approach made it engaging and effective. I highly recommend giving her lessons a try if you want to improve your tennis skills with a supportive coach who really knows her stuff. You won’t be disappointed! 🎾

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonRacket Familiarization: Grip exercises, and practicing swinging the racket without a ball.
2. Fundamental Skills:
Grip: Proper grip for forehand, backhand, and serve.
Footwork: Learning the basic footwork patterns for different shots, including lunges and pivots.
Strokes:
Forehand: Grip, stance, swing path, and follow-through.
Backhand: One-handed and two-handed backhand techniques, including grip, stance, and swing.
Serve: Proper toss, grip, and swing mechanics for a consistent serve.
Lesson 11+Point play. Learning how to construct points and play competitive matches. Learning scoring and hitting lots of serves. We will start talking about strategy. Lastly, we start talking about joining beginner Usta leagues in the area for fun and to meet more tennis friends!
Lesson 4-10Moving back and working on ball perception and positioning your body to hit ball in proper contact point with proper form.
We will start to hit live balls and hitting back and forth. Working on sending and receiving messages after muscle memory and fundamentals are set.
