Growing up in Canada, I competed in tennis throughout my childhood and won the Canadian nationals at age 13! I consistently ranked within the top three in Canada throughout my junior years, which led to a full scholarship to play Division 1 NCAA tennis at the University of Virginia. I competed all four years alongside my identical twin sister – what an experience! After graduating, I realized my passion for tennis and fitness, and now I have over 15 years of experience coaching. I love connecting with, motivating, and helping both juniors and adults achieve their tennis goals. I'm also passing on my love for the game to my two daughters, ages 10 and 13, who are both nationally ranked! They've progressed through red, orange, and green ball and are currently competing in junior USTA tournaments here in Texas. I first picked up a tennis racket when I was just three years old, and from that moment, I was hooked. Tennis became a huge part of my life—I played competitively all the way through high school, and the sport taught me discipline, strategy, and the joy of healthy competition. Sports have always been a passion of mine, whether I’m watching, playing, or coaching. These days, I’m also really into pickleball and love the fast-paced, fun energy it brings. It’s a great complement to tennis and keeps me active and connected to the game in a new way. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, I lived there until the age of 19 before moving to Los Angeles, where I taught tennis for over 15 years. I also spent four years in Hawaii, where I ran my own tennis program on the island of Oahu. Currently, I am a coach at a private high school in Plano, Texas. I love fishing, cooking, tennis, and golf, and I live in Plano with my loving wife.
