My teaching experience revolves around simplifying the game to its core, ensuring a swift and enjoyable learning curve that gets players actively involved and on the courts playing and competing at all levels. Lessons are tailored to the individual/group regardless of age, gender and experience. With over 20 years of coaching experience for your benefit.

Bio: My journey with racquet sports began at the age of 9 with tennis, a passion that led me to compete globally in both ITF and USTA tournaments. I started coaching tennis at 16 to stay connected to the sport I loved while supporting my college education. Recently, I’ve embraced pickleball, competing at a 5.0 level and finding joy in its social and accessible nature. My recent role as an educator and coach in SBISD has further enriched my teaching approach. What excites me about pickleball is its blend of simplicity and strategic depth, capturing the essence of the racquet sports I’ve always cherished.

Bio: Coach Deven is an experienced pickleball player known for his quick decision-making and ability to teach the reasoning behind every move. I excel at thinking on their feet and specialize in making rapid, strategic choices on the court. My expertise and passion for teaching make for an exceptional instructor for players of all levels.

Bio: Brandon is the Head Pickleball Instructor at PALA. Brandon has a decorated tennis and pickleball career as a Player and Coach! Playing tennis at the collegiate level and for over 30 years, Brandon made the switch to Pickleball 3 years ago and hasn’t looked back. Brandon has won numerous Pickleball Tournaments and is a fantastic player. On par with Brandon’s playing abilities are his coaching abilities. Brandon has been a Local Head High School Tennis Coach for the past 9 years, coaching his team to 7 straight District Titles. Brandon brings his passion for SUCCESS and WINNING to PALA! Brandon facilitates and directs all of the Youth Player Development Programs at PALA. Brandon’s true passion is player improvement & development, court awareness, and on court strategy.
