Bio: My philosophy is focused on teaching the basic, essential, and advanced steps of playing pickleball. My teaching experience revolves around simplifying the game to its core, ensuring a swift and enjoyable learning curve that gets players actively involved and on the courts playing and competing at all levels. Lessons are tailored to the individual/group regardless of age, gender and experience. With over 20 years of coaching experience for your benefit.
Bio: My name is Roberto. I was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica, and I came to the United States nine years ago to play college tennis. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University (nation's top 10 NCAA Division II school) with a B.A. in Business Management and served as the team's captain on my last semester. I have also coached beginner and intermediate tennis players of all ages in Costa Rica as well as several collegiate dual matches. Regarding my playing history, I have played tournaments in over 10 countries, obtained a junior international ranking, and reached a ranking of #8 in Costa Rica. As of this year, I started coaching pickleball and the experience has been no different! Concepts are very similar and time to raise level is actually shorter!
Bio: I knew I was hooked when I hit a pickleball for the first time. I understand the challenges and excitement of learning this game from scratch without any prior racket sports background. My easygoing and patient personality allows me to connect with and coach players of all ages and skill levels, from kids to adults and beginners to intermediates.
