Whether you're a complete newbie or looking to take your skills to the next level, I've got you covered. My teaching philosophy goes beyond just riding waves – I aim to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to easily navigate the ocean. During our sessions, we'll cover everything from surf etiquette to understanding ocean conditions and selecting the right equipment. My goal isn't just to give you a lesson – to make you a true surfer, capable of hitting the waves solo and enjoying the thrill of surfing for years to come. Bio: Hello, I'm Tyler! A proud Los Angeles native, I've committed over a decade to surfing, transitioning into competitive surfing over the last six years. Beginning in high school, my dedication led me to the esteemed USC Surf team where I'm currently honing my skills. Simultaneously, I've been expressing my passion through skateboarding, transitioning from street skating to the dynamic skate park scene, and finally into surf skating. My diverse experiences have equipped me with a wealth of knowledge that I love sharing. As a seasoned coach, I've guided both children and adults, instilling in them the thrill and skills of surfing.
