A former Division I student-athlete, Jonathan brings firsthand experience from elite football programs into every training session, emphasizing discipline, football IQ, and real game preparation. Jonathan played Division I football at the University of Arizona and the University of Alabama at Birmingham on full scholarship, where he gained deep insight into the physical, mental, and technical demands required to compete at the next level. His playing career laid the foundation for his coaching philosophy: prepare athletes not just to perform, but to understand the game. Following his playing career, Jonathan transitioned into coaching, serving in roles at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Boston College, and the University of Maryland. His experience includes working with running backs and defensive backs, assisting in film breakdown, scouting reports, practice planning, player evaluations, and game-week preparation. He has also served as an offensive assistant and coordinator, giving him a comprehensive understanding of offensive systems, protections, and positional responsibilities. As a football trainer, Jonathan specializes in position-specific skill development, speed and movement mechanics, football IQ training, and preparing athletes for the transition to higher levels of competition. 30 min lessons are HALF the price of hourly lessons. I am a professional musician born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii. I attend Berklee College of Music and currently play part-time with the Royal Hawaiian Band and have done so for over 4 years. I have been hired for numerous musical theater programs for 13 years. ​ In addition to playing music professionally I also provide drum lessons to students of all ages and backgrounds. I offer 30 minute lessons for children and and 1 hour for adults only. It is preferred to do online or in person lessons at student’s home. My personal studio is also available at my discretion.
