Dress comfortable, tennis shoes, hat(when outdoors). Paddle if you have. (not necessary)

Please arrive in athletic clothes including, tennis or pickleball shoes, a hat/visor, some sunglasses and also bring water.

If you have your own paddle that’s great so you can get familiar with what you will be using in rec play.

I run the Youth Program at Melba Bishop.

Depending on their level of interest, we can simply have fun and shoot for longer rallies or we can actually apply some of the lessons from the beginner course.

I've always enjoyed working with kids and giving them lots of encouragement to help them reach their goals. In the past I have worked as a teacher's assistant in a special education class, worked as a camp counselor, coached youth soccer, and helped take care of my nieces and nephews. It's always great to see kids learn and develop new skills while having fun!
