As a player, I was ranked number 1 for most of my junior career in my home country. I defeated the world-ranked number six in the 35 age group and reached number 125. Recently, I had the opportunity to practice with Daria Kasatkina, world number 14, as a hitter at the US Open. With over 20 years of coaching experience, I am one of the few USTA Coach Developers running the USTA Coaching Fundamentals Workshops for coaches. I served as a USPTA Tester and was awarded USPTA Tester of the Year in the Eastern Section. Additionally, I have been recognized as the Coach of the Year and High School Coach of the Year in the PNW by the USPTA. Hey, I'm Coach Jeff. I was a Division I tennis player on an athletic scholarship at Saint Peter’s University (SPU), where I also served as team captain my senior year. Following that, I became the assistant coach at SPU and NJCU. Currently, I run an indoor tennis program at SPU, offering adult cardio tennis and kids' group lessons. I work with players of all ages and skill levels, but my specialty is helping dedicated athletes elevate their game through personalized training programs.

I have been a high-level competitive tennis player for many years, progressing through USTA tournaments on into the Division I collegiate level at Sacred Heart University. Before Sacred Heart, I played a couple of years at Division III Allegheny College where I was a two-time all-conference singles selection, became captain as a junior and was a representative of the team on the student athletic advisory committee. At Sacred Heart, I was named captain my senior season and received the student-athlete award for the highest GPA on the team after my first semester. In addition to my playing experience, I have many years of coaching experience. I am a current RSPA Elite Professional, and have organized and run my own private lessons and programs. I have also coached at various country and athletic clubs in Northern NJ and New York, along with having been an assistant men’s coach at Army West Point. I am sometimes available at the Jersey Shore in the summer as well.
